Akira Toriyama Is a manga author and character Japanese designer born April 5, 1955 in Kiyosu in Aichi prefecture.
His most famous work is Dragon Ball which was a huge success worldwide. In 2007, the Japanese ranked the "third best manga of all time" on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Japan Media Arts Festival, behind Slam Dunk and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure1.
