Lei Saito

Lei Saito is an artist of Japanese origin who has lived and worked in Paris since 2003. She studied in Japan (1999-2003) and at Annette Messager's studio at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

After several residencies, at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and at the Cité internationale des Arts in Paris in particular, she received several awards and exhibited in many places. She also performs culinary performances, including this Studio Party. In doing so, she develops the concept of Existential Cuisine, a shared ephemeral moment where taste, appearance, atmosphere and poetry intermingle.
