Yuriko Takagi was born in Tokyo in 1951, in Japan. She studied graphic design at the University of Musashino and fashion design at the Polytechnic School of Trent in England. After having worked for five years as independent designer in Europe it is launched in the photograph in particular during its travel through Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East.
His work focuses mainly on "human existence", with a unique perspective involving both the body and its environment.
The photographer has always shared his career between the series for the big names of the mode (in September 2012, 80 photos of Yuriko Takagi were published in the book pleats Please of ( Issey Miyake) and projects more personal (Generai Gravitation, naked Respondents ... ).
Its work is part of prestigious collections such as those of the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo or Shanghai Museum, but the artist had not been exposed in France since 1988.
