He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw - a diploma at the Faculty of Design in 1983, as well as an annex in painting in the studio of Ludwik Maciąg and Jacek Sepolinski. He mainly paints with oils, acrylics and watercolors.
For nearly 40 years, he has also been illustrating books and other publications (handbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, didactic boards, etc.) mainly on nature. He prepares his works using traditional techniques (gouache, watercolor, etc.) and sometimes performs digital processing. It has nearly 5,000 items in its archives. various illustrations. When drawing various species of animals and plants, he mainly draws on specimens that he has access to in many scientific institutions in Poland. When drawing details, he uses a microscope or a binocular. He also cooperates with many specialists - biologists, foresters, educators, etc.
In addition to llustrative activities, he fully develops various types of publications on nature and didactics (writes texts, consults nature films, etc.). He has several hundred publications in well-known publishing houses, websites and institutions, and about 20 developed entirely by himself.
The artist's activity was awarded three times by the Minister of the Environment in the years: 1997, 1998 and 2003.
