Krzysztof Kargol

KRZYSZTOF KARGOL (born 1974)
Co-founder of the artistic group VIA – Voluntary Artistic Initiative. He has a studio in Józefosław. He has launched a project using miniature representations of everyday life and landscapes, known as the Composition of Everyday Landscapes. He paints large-scale paintings, typically found in his studio, and smaller ones alla prima in the open air. He creates reflective, colorful, and serene paintings, which are informed by his own interpretation. People, portraits, nature, its cycles, and duration are central to his work. A thick layer applied to platforms, an accessible structure, and the viewer drawn into his own journey of discovery of the world gathered in the images.
