Biography
Marian Jesien was born in Miechow in 1959
He studied in the Technical School of Ceramics as a pupil of Stanisław Moskała. Since he is a child he is passionate about painting, he worked for 17 years at the "Kafel" Folk and Artistic Ceramic Co-operative in Mydlniki.
He is one of the few to pursue the profession of ceramist.
Its ceramic rosettes and stove tiles can be found in the Wawel Royal Castle, as well as the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
Painting has been his passion for years. He painted flowers, landscapes and animals.
His works are in private collections at home and abroad. He had two exhibitions in France and Germany.
Marian Jesień combined her profession of ceramics with painting.
