Patrick Gusenga

Gusenga Patrick is a visual artist born in 1998 and based in Rwanda!
A third born in a family of five kids, he was a blessing to the family for the created artworks at home at a tender age that ferried almost everyone around the village to his home to see the beautiful artworks he drew, Gusenga Patrick used to draw cartoons and characters from movies. His parents could not hesitate to take me to an art school, he went also to university for digital media production and computer graphics to an extent that he has become a consultant in the field at a very young age, humble and reserved my ability is presented through my art because he likes to see people and social activities and also In his artworks he likes to bring natural beauty through the colors, he takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. often referencing Rwandan history, his works explore the varying relationships between popular cultures and fine art, he thinks of his works as unfinished inventories of fragments, and he creates room in them as improvisational sites in which the constructed and readymade are used to question the making of the world through language and knowledge, in his artwork he makes arrangements that are schematic inviting the viewer to move into space of speculation, he finds inspirations from desires for beauty and seduction( what surrounds him) he mostly uses painting (acrylic paint) and a computer(digital art). I believe in the creativity of art because everything surrounding us is masterpieces artworks! I take my art in two different ways, the first is the message and the second is tangibly expressing ideas!
