Biography
Francisco Jiménez Conesa is a Spanish painter. Influenced by his mother, who was herself an artist, he grew up in an environment that incited him to create. It was then obvious for him to join the School of Applied Arts and Crafts of Madrid.
His artistic Journey started with drawings done with pencil. Afterwards, color took more and more place in his compositions.Abstract marks and forms became more present. When he moved to the countryside to escape the rhythm of the city, his subjects and his palette of colors became more organic and natural. Climatic elements and phenomena inspire him, such as earth, fog, the mineral. He creates intimate and subtle, almost spiritual compositions.
