Rorro Berjano was born in 1980, he is a Spanish painter.
He does hybrid work, and confronts the ancestral Afro-Cuban culture with the current society by exploiting visual possibilities. He assembles heterogeneous elements, his art is a fusion of religions. A perfect art which mixes antagonist influences: street art, pop culture, aestheticism and primitivism...This narrative richness juxtaposes ideas from all horizons, approaching collective imagination, doubled with anthropological poetry.
His works are spread out from Beirut to Toulouse, not to mention Algiers and Miami. Founder of the Espace La Nave Spacial project, his last solo exhibition was called "New gods, new altarpieces". His work is part of collections such as the Focus-Abengoa Foundation, ATHIC Taiwan or Lozano Group. He has received several awards and grants, his creations were also part of fairs like KIAF in Seoul, ARCO in Madrid, or Cige in Beijing.
