Biography

Marina Kozyr is a contemporary artist based in San Sebastián, Spain. She graduated from the Higher School of Design "Details" in Moscow and worked for many years as an interior designer, creating private residential projects.

Her artistic practice grew naturally from her engagement with space, atmosphere, and visual harmony. While designing interiors, she began creating murals and paintings, gradually developing an independent artistic practice.

Marina's artwork is inspired by beauty, memory, and everyday experience. Growing up near a botanical garden shaped her sensitivity to nature, color, and the emotional impact of visual details, influences that continue to inform her work today.

Through painting and drawing, she creates images that move between reality and imagination. Inspired by fleeting moments, subtle emotions, and natural forms, she transforms personal impressions into atmospheric compositions that invite contemplation.

Her background in interior design informs her understanding of color, balance, texture, and spatial perception, shaping works that engage both visually and emotionally.

At the center of Marina's practice is a belief that art can bring harmony and connection into everyday life. Through a poetic approach to image-making, she explores the relationship between beauty, memory, and human experience, encouraging viewers to slow down and rediscover a sense of wonder.
