Description
Turquoise Twilight: Serene Semi-Abstract Coastal Artwork on Canvas
Abstract coastal artwork brings calm home: explore "Turquoise Twilight" (76.2 × 101.6 cm / 30 × 40 in) by Marina Kozyr. Turquoise and blue spread across an open sky and watery horizon, with muted lavender lending softness to the distance. Below, emerald greens and crimson accents introduce expressive texture. This contrast gives the composition depth while preserving its atmosphere of stillness. Made with professional acrylic paints and pastel on cotton canvas, the artwork is protected with archival varnish and signed on the front and back. Its full canvas measures 96.5 × 122 cm (38 × 48 in), with 10 cm (4 in) margins on each side, including 5 cm (2 in) of painted margin. The vertical format brings an airy focal point to modern living rooms, bedrooms, and reading spaces, particularly alongside natural wood and neutral textiles. A thoughtful gift for a coastal art lover, this unique work also appeals to collectors who enjoy landscapes poised between observation and imagination.
The canvas is supplied unframed and unstretched and will be shipped rolled, ready for professional stretching and framing.
Presentation
Marina Kozyr is a contemporary artist based in San Sebastián, Spain. She graduated from the Higher School of Design "Details" in Moscow and worked for many years as an interior designer, creating private residential projects.
Her artistic practice grew naturally from her engagement with space, atmosphere, and visual harmony. While designing interiors, she began creating murals and paintings, gradually developing an independent artistic practice.
Marina's artwork is inspired by beauty, memory, and everyday experience. Growing up near a botanical garden shaped her sensitivity to nature, color, and the emotional impact of visual details, influences that continue to inform her work today.
Through painting and drawing, she creates images that move between reality and imagination. Inspired by fleeting moments, subtle emotions, and natural forms, she transforms personal impressions into atmospheric compositions that invite contemplation.
Her background in interior design informs her understanding of color, balance, texture, and spatial perception, shaping works that engage both visually and emotionally.
At the center of Marina's practice is a belief that art can bring harmony and connection into everyday life. Through a poetic approach to image-making, she explores the relationship between beauty, memory, and human experience, encouraging viewers to slow down and rediscover a sense of wonder.
