Andrea Reina

Andrea Reina (b. 2000) is an abstract artist based in Málaga. She studied Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Málaga and later completed a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Artistic Production at the same university.

Her artistic practice explores the connection between landscape, memory, and experience. Her creative process is characterized by a deep investigation of material, gesture, and texture, where the process itself becomes a crucial component. Her paintings arise from the intersection of landscape, memory, emotion, and space—elements intertwined through an attentive process open to the unexpected. Gesture, glazes, drying times, and accidents that occur during creation play an equal role in constructing each work.

Her work seeks to go beyond a purely aesthetic experience, offering spaces for pause, contemplation, and personal connection. Through painting, she aims to evoke a meaningful experience in the viewer and transform the spaces that host her works into places capable of awakening new ways of seeing and understanding the world.
