Biography
Juan José Valencia was born in 1980 in Tenerife, the Canary Islands and currently lives on the island. Artist, curator and editor of projects on the web, he often collaborates with the artist Lena Peñate Spicer in various artistic projects. His work has been exhibited in Spain, Belgium, Finland, Bulgaria, USA, Cuba and China, and has participated in several biennials as the Biennial of Jodoigne / Geldenaken in Belgium, the Bienal de Arte de Lanzarote, the Young Art Taipei, the Havana Biennial, the II Biennial of the Canary Islands of Art, Architecture and Landscape and the Biennial Garage of the USA. His work is in various collections.
