José Subirà-Puig

Subirà-Puig, (Barcelone 1925- 2015 Nogent Sur Marne), is a Spanish sculptor and designer drawing Life scenes and landscapes in his young years. He studies at Barcelona Beaux-Arts de Barcelone and settles in France in 1953 where he gets acquainted with Zadkine and in 1967 with Yvonne et Christian Zervos organizeing his first Solo Show in Cahiers d'Arts Gallery, Paris. He is selected in 1958 1959 1960 to the Young Sculpture Fair in Paris and has regular Solo Shows in Paris, mostly in Galerie Ariel, and in 2008 in La Galerie Lise Cormery during the Tribute to « André Warnod, dessins de prisonnier de guerre de 1914-1919 - André Warnod drawings of a Prisoner of War » in 2008 with Carzou, Anguerra, Poncet, Scrive, etc.
