Biography
My name is Marlène Iten Graf. I am from Switzerland and I also live there. I have worked more than 20 years as a sculptor and after 17 years I rediscovered painting.
Colors fascinate me as much as three-dimensional design.
I was inspired by different trips to the Orient by the shapes and colors of this region. I carried the ancient existing culture home in my thoughts and carved it into stone and captured it on canvas.
I will present one of my works: Le Rêve I, a patinated bronze sculpture, with dimensions length 60cm, width 27cm, from the year 2012, which I like very much because she is a dreamer like me. While observing people or nature, I already dream of creating a certain sculpture or a certain painting.
