Biography
Chika Wu is an artist from Taiwan.
Wu is specializing in graphic design, then she switched her path to fine art.
She graduated from Musashino Art University in Japan.
Her artwork recently was selected by "International Artist Grand Prize Competition 2019" which is the biggest art prize in Asia.
The world we live in is a mixture of eastern and western, the reality and the illusion. the contemporary and the past.
Her artwork tries to express the conflict between these concepts. The layers reflect different appearances under the light which represents the passing of time.
I wish all my audience can experience a different worldview of oriental painting.
