Oleg Ivlev

Oleg Ivlev (b. 1998, Kremenchuk, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian calligrapher working at the intersection of letter, collage, and abstraction. He graduated from the Kremenchuk Children's Art School and trained at the professional art lyceum in Reshetylivka, where he qualified as a kilim weaver. At the lyceum, he was drawn to the flexibility, dynamism, and quiet force of the letter, and found in calligraphy a language for self-expression that landscapes and still lifes could not offer.
