Biography
London-raised and Tel Aviv–based, Chanel Sonego is an artist of Moroccan and Italian Jewish heritage. After obtaining her BA from the University of the Arts London, she developed a painting practice that explores her Judeo-Moroccan and Italian heritage, alongside broader tensions of identity, existentialism, and the human condition through esoteric and surreal iconography.
