Biography
Martin Faure is a young French painter who graduated from the Ecole National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris (MA in fine art) and is currently working in London at Cubitt studio and gallery.
His large canvases are mysterious and arresting, charged with poetic imagination and a hint of magic realism. Each paintings are different, each one expects the viewer to find contemplation, and reflection on our society and humanity through conversation with shapes of nature… elements such as stones, rain, cloud, brick. It becomes abstract objects, sort of a symbol in their poetic essence, set in a space, structure by the light and its eternal atmospheres.
