Presentation

Excluded from the London school due to his early experiences in graffiti, Lucas Price (Cyclops) moved to Manchester and plunged into a marginal existence marked by addiction.

Funding this way of life through counterfeiting, he spent time in prison and was generally homeless. Emerging ten years later, he found himself stimulated by the growing network of street art and founded the Burning Candy crew in London.

His work appeared at the Tate Modern in 2008. An appearance in "Exit Through the Gift Shop", at Banksy's request, ended in an arrest which can be seen in that same Oscar-nominated documentary.

Cyclops' work landed him a coveted post at the Royal College of Art, where he earned an MA.

He now works from his studio in east London.
