Biography
Perry Oliver was born on November 1, 1941 in Pennsylvania, United States. From 1960 to 1967, he was a partner in the architectural design firm Oliver / Wright Associates, College Park, Maryland. In 1968 he traveled to Spain and quickly found a new home in Nerja (Málaga). In 1970, a close friend introduced him to printmaking, which he developed (self-taught) in his workshop in this village on the shores of the Mediterranean.
Over the next few years he traveled to Spain, Morocco, France, Great Britain, Holland, Germany and the United States. In 1986 he bought an old house and land in Frigiliana. During this period of the 1980s, new personal and professional relationships developed in Malaga, Andalusia and Denmark. Jenny Bouchat and Oliver married in Gibraltar (1988). In 1999, he became passionate about sculpture and set up his workshop at the Frigiliana farm. Studio
