Minimani

Minimani is a New York based and self-taught photographer and has been successfully working internationally as a commercial photographer and filmmaker working on many projects in advertising and design. As an artist Minimani has been involved in various artistic and shortfilm projects, one of them leading to this concept of creating a world of miniature people, figurines and placing them in and taking them out of their usual context. By skillfully placing these miniature people in clever and colorful settings with live size objects and products Minimani forces the beholder to see and look at these everyday objects in a different way light and appreciate different normally neglected detail and aspects of things around us. With the humour and color as the essence of this series Minimani aims to bring joy and fun in our everyday life, changing our perpective on common things and situations by thinking out side the box.
