Biography

Danh Vo is a Vietnamese-Danish contemporary artist renowned for his conceptual and multidisciplinary artworks. 

Born in 1975 in Bà Rịa, Vietnam, Vo and his family fled to Denmark as refugees in 1979. He later studied briefly at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. 

Vo's art often explores themes of identity, cultural displacement, and historical narratives, with a particular focus on the intersection of personal and political histories. His work encompasses a variety of mediums, including sculpture, installation, photography, and found objects. 

Vo has exhibited extensively with notable solo exhibitions at prestigious venues worldwide in Paris, Hong Kong, New York and Venice. His thought-provoking and visually arresting artworks have earned him widespread acclaim and recognition in the contemporary art world.
