Description
As a result of our European heritage we combined the detailed Makonde sculpture with a modern design into an unique art piece that even the most pretentious guests would appreciate. The unique combination of British quality, generations of talented sculptors and modern design make for a great investment for your house.
The one-of-a-kind style, comes from the rich imagination and originality expressed by each member of the team. Our creative process provides total freedom to each sculptor in order to follow and interpret the natural wood shapes. The table is hand-carved from a single piece of ebony in one of the most recognizable, and most widely admired carving styles, Makonde.
From choosing the right piece of wood to the finished project, the meticulous sculpture and the difficulty of hand-carving dense wood required more than 3 months and involved a team of 3 artisans.
