Description
Diapir is a light fixture resulting from a collaboration between stained glass artist Marion Clavier and designer Marie Rolland. Inspired by the salt marshes of the South of France, it explores both the aesthetics of the place and the materials harvested. Indeed, the entire stained glass window and its base are made of salt, thanks to a unique process developed at the Studio.
This captivating piece combines ancestral art and modernity. Its geometric composition, whose drawn lines are emphasized by lead, is the result of a reinterpretation of views of the salt marshes from the sky. Its soft and warm color palette is inspired by the hues of the salt marshes at the dawn of summer.
Presentation
Marion Clavier is a glass artist who graduated from the Parisian Olivier de Serre school.
She designs and creates decorative pieces, architectural stained glass windows and works of art. With her mastery of ancestral stained glass techniques, she offers a contemporary abstract signature that invites you to travel.
