Anne-Sophie Boulogne

Anne-Sophie Boulogne is an artist passionate about ceramics for over twenty-five years. She first worked with groggy clays and the raku technique, creating pieces with an ethnic look. Gradually, her artistic exploration has led her to porcelain, a demanding material that allows her to express great finesse in her sculptures.

Her current work focuses on the creation of sculptures and lamps in enameled porcelain, often inspired by the mysterious universe of the abysses. She uses the transparency of porcelain to diffuse a soft and fairy-like light, giving her works a dimension that is both delicate and luminous. The shapes she shapes are frequently geometric and harmonious, embodying, in her view, the beauty present in nature.

Anne-Sophie Boulogne also combines groggy stoneware, with its raw textures, with porcelain to create material contrasts that evoke different facets of nature and symbolize notions such as renewal or the explosion of life. Each piece is unique and entirely handmade, testifying to her commitment to meticulous artisanal work.
