God Save the Queen is the second single by the British punk rock band Sex Pistols. It was released during the twenty-fifth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne in 1977.
The lyrics, like the album cover, caused controversy at the time, and the song was withdrawn from BBC airwaves.
Rumors say that the song was denied the top spot on the charts (ranked second) due to its controversial nature.
The phrase "no future", the final refrain of the song, has become emblematic of the punk rock movement.
In 2022, the single was re-released a few days before the festivities celebrating the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. It became number 1 in the UK charts.
The album cover, which features an altered portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, was designed by Jamie Reid and was named number one on a list of the 100 greatest album covers of all time by Q Magazine in 2001.

Be@rbrick (often stylized BE@RBRICK) is much more than just a collectible toy: it is an iconic contemporary work of art at the intersection of design, fashion,street art and pop culture. Designed and produced since 2001 by the Japanese company MediCom Toy Incorporated, this small bear with its minimalist design and instantly recognizable silhouette has become a true global cultural phenomenon. The name "Be@rbrick" results from the combination of the words "bear" and "brick", in reference to its aesthetic connection with the famous Kubrick figurines of the same company, while the "@" sign in its name constitutes a distinctive visual brand symbol.
Each Be@rbrick is a stylized anthropomorphic bear with a rounded belly and simplified geometric shapes, composed of nine modular parts: head, torso, hips, arms, hands, and legs. Thanks to its eight points of articulation, the figurine offers flexibility that reinforces its sculptural dimension.
