Description
This abstract work consists of four distinct sections, each exploring the repetition and variation of geometric patterns. The main shapes include parallel vertical bands, circles and semicircles, arranged to create a harmonious visual dynamic. The dominant colours – red, yellow and black – interact through superposition, producing intermediate shades, including orange hues, and reinforcing the sense of depth through transparency effects.
The black grainy textures add subtle contrast and tactile dimension, while the alignments and shifts of the elements give rhythm and variety to the composition. The balance between repetition and formal variation evokes a modernist influence, recalling movements such as Bauhaus or Op Art. Each section seems to play with proportions and relationships between forms, inviting the viewer to observe the complex interactions between patterns and colors. This work highlights an aesthetic that is both structured and vibrant, stimulating a free and subjective reading.
