Description
RHYTHMS & MUSICALITY
Marino develops his works by adding new aesthetic and human dimensions while maintaining their architectural character. Migone, a great Argentine engineer, but they gain in rhythm and "musicality" as if to acquire a new echo, a new sonority. He seeks to create symphonic ensembles where each element would have a role of lyrical or peaceful counterpoint. He believes that the unification of disciplines linked by space and movement is not obvious at a time when they are still strictly defined. Marino is inspired by classical music, borrowing movement and harmony from great composers such as John Giles or Johann Sebastian Bach.

Presentation
Born in 1920 in a poor peasant family in the Italian mountains, Francesco Marino Di Teana was in turn a shepherd then apprentice bricklayer in Italy (Teana), project manager, architect and student at the Beaux-Arts in Argentina (Buenos Aires) before settling in France at the beginning of the fifties and becoming one the most important sculptor of the second half of the XXth century.
Represented for more than 30 years in the mystical gallery owner Denise René, winner of prestigious artistic prizes and known as one of the most famous creators and art critic of their time (from Vasarely to Giacometti, from Seuphor to Harry Bellet), he is an artist whose works of art and huge creations, always full of timeless modernity and relevant, enrich the most important public and private collections and revitalize our urban spaces.
