Description
This artwork presents a captivating geometric sphere composed of an intricate lattice of intersecting wires and panels. The sphere's exterior features a vivid mosaic of blues, pinks, and whites, forming a dynamic patchwork of color and light. Inside, a smaller, solid orange sphere contrasts sharply with the surrounding transparency, serving as a striking focal point. The meticulous alignment of the lines and curves demonstrates a harmonious blend of structure and fluidity. The sphere's shadow extends onto the surface, creating a compelling interplay of light and form. This piece exemplifies precision and creativity, challenging perceptions of space and dimensionality. The artwork's ability to capture movement and stillness concurrently invites viewers into a mesmerizing exploration of balance and contrast.
Presentation
The artist finds in drawing a way to explore the relevance of detail in the construction of images, objects and spaces.
The repetition of tiny elements such as the line in a drawing, lead to the construction of complex universes where that detail acquires value and becomes the basic unit, like the brick in a wall.
The gesture of the repetition of small elements and the time invested in doing it, is used as a tool to give "value" to the images that are constructed.
