Description
"Morning After the Rain" is an original pastel by contemporary artist Natalya Balashova. Rendered on a 50 x 50 cm format, this atmospheric landscape uses a muted, nuanced palette to capture the soft light and hush that follows a summer shower. Tall, cypress-like forms line a tranquil path, while warm, golden light filters through misty foliage. Two small figures in the distance add a quiet human note to this contemplative scene. The delicate texture and subtle layers of pastel create a luminous, tactile surface that rewards close viewing.
This intimate, moody work makes an evocative focal point for living rooms, studies, or gallery walls. Its soft palette and contemplative mood suit modern and classic interiors alike. As an original pastel by Natalya Balashova, the painting is a unique investment in contemporary art and craftsmanship.

Presentation
Natalia Balashova (Amorepastels) is a pastel artist whose creative path began with a deep dedication to realism, which became the foundation of her distinctive artistic voice. Through years of exploration, she has developed a refined, emotional, and intuitive approach to pastel - a medium she calls “pure love." Her work reveals the harmony between technical mastery and the sensitivity of touch, transforming fleeting impressions into luminous, tangible moments.
Balashova's art has been featured in international exhibitions and is held in private and museum collections across Russia, Italy, Germany, and the United States, including the Museum at the S'Daniele Monastery in Italy. She has studied under renowned artists such as Elena Tatkina, Irina Klimova, Olga Abramova, Sergey Usik, and Vicente Romero Redondo, drawing inspiration from their diverse artistic philosophies.
A member of both the Professional Artists' Union and the National Pastellists' Union, Natalia regularly exhibits with the National Pastellists' Union and the independent art collective ASM-club, where she was awarded First Place at the international pastel competition Pastelium. Her paintings often explore the quiet dialogue between nature and emotion, where trees whisper, water conceals mysteries, and human figures emerge as storytellers of inner truth.
