Description
Gouache on canvas, mounted on cardboard.
This evocative landscape painting captures a serene seascape with striking simplicity and depth. The foreground features windswept grasses rendered in warm ochres and soft greens, leading the viewer's eye toward a tranquil beach. The sand is depicted with earthy tones, creating a harmonious contrast with the cool, muted blues of the ocean. Above, the sky is an exquisite gradient of peach to light gray, setting a calming, contemplative mood. Three birds soar effortlessly above the horizon, adding movement and life to the scene. The artist's use of smooth brushstrokes and soft blending techniques conveys a sense of gentle breezes and quietude. This artwork stands out for its minimalist yet impactful composition, capturing the essence of a peaceful coastal retreat with remarkable clarity and elegance.
