Description
The artist made this life-like sketch at the Bratsevo estate near the river in winter 2001. This exquisite artwork depicts a serene winter landscape, meticulously executed in delicate pencil strokes. The scene portrays a snow-blanketed terrain where bare trees stand stark against the soft, undulating hills. The artist skillfully captures the subtle interplay of light and shadow, emphasizing the quiet beauty of a winter day. Notably, the composition is framed with a sophisticated dark green mat, adorned with ornate gold detailing at the corners, enhancing its elegance. The intricate border and antique-style frame with rich textures provide a refined contrast to the minimalist drawing, creating a harmonious balance. This piece stands out for its ability to evoke tranquility and timelessness, inviting the viewer to appreciate the nuanced simplicity and its quiet grace.
