Serval, 2026

Valentine Petportrait

A realistic portrait of a serval. The minimalist composition draws attention to its expressive gaze, elegant form, and the natural beauty of this wild animal.
A portrait of a serval that combines the elegance of the wild with a sense of calm and inner strength.
Set against a clean white background, the animal's large, attentive eyes, distinctive features, and graceful form become especially expressive. The minimalist composition allows the viewer to focus entirely on the subject and appreciate the details that define its character.
The artwork was created using colored pencils, allowing me to capture subtle color transitions, the texture of the fur, and the serval's vivid, attentive gaze.
For me, this work is about my fascination with wildlife and its unique beauty. What draws me to the serval is the combination of elegance, strength, and independence — qualities I wanted to convey through its gaze and graceful form.
This work is about the beauty of wildlife without unnecessary decoration. About an animal that remains free, independent, and slightly mysterious.
The artwork can become an accent piece in a contemporary interior and is suited to those who feel a special connection with wild animals and appreciate realistic art.
