The Oil painting Cardboard titled "Boats on the seashore" captures the raw power and beauty of the sea meeting the rugged coastline, framed by the simplicity of abandoned boats resting on the sandy ground. The composition radiates both tranquility and drama, offering a dual impression of human presence and nature's overwhelming dominance. With broad, expressive brushstrokes, the artist conveys the restless motion of the water, the solidity of the rocky cliffs, and the quiet endurance of the boats on the shore, awaiting their next voyage. The foreground is dominated by the beached boats, painted with earthy browns and muted grays, their wooden planks roughly sketched but instantly recognizable. Their angled positioning on the sand suggests they have been hauled ashore, perhaps after a long day of fishing, and now sit idle, symbols of both human labor and the timeless bond between man and the sea. The boats, though still and quiet, seem to carry within them countless untold stories of journeys across the water, of fishermen battling waves, and of the rhythm of life shaped by the ocean's moods. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
