This artwork presents a vibrant still life composition, masterfully capturing the essence of a serene setting. Dominating the scene is a lush bouquet of white hydrangeas, rendered with delicate brushstrokes that convey a sense of freshness and softness. Beside the bouquet, a cup of tea gracefully rests, inviting a moment of quiet reflection. The adjacent plate overflows with ripe red berries, their vivid hue strikingly contrasting against the muted tones of the background. The addition of a small bunch of grapes adds depth and texture, enhancing the visual interest. The fabric beneath, with its gentle, undulating patterns, creates a harmonious backdrop that ties the elements together. Presentation
Born on August 24, 1946 to the family of the famous Kyiv artist Petr Ivanovich Babak (1922-1973).
In 1976 he graduated from the Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute, department of industrial graphics. Studied in the workshop of Egorov and Professor Vikhtinsky
During his studies, he received several awards for participating in poster competitions.
Since 1999, he has taken part in regional and all-Ukrainian exhibitions and plein airs.
The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Kharkov (1998, 2002, 2007, 2017), Germany (1999), Krasnograd (2003), Lvov (2009).
Diploma winner of the international plein air dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of I.E. Repin
Since 2003 Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine
The works of Vyacheslav Babak are in museums of Ukraine (Krasnograd, Chuguev), as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, USA, Spain, Israel.

Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
