Original painting from our collection
A luminous landscape unfolds with a gentle, rhythmic energy. The composition captures a serene river valley under a vast, cloud-swept sky. Soft brushstrokes define the rolling hills. Vibrant greens merge with golden sunlight. Splashes of purple wildflowers dot the grassy foreground, adding a delicate touch of color to the natural scene.
The artist employs an impressionistic approach. Light plays a central role, dancing across the water's surface and filtering through dense foliage. The foliage is rendered with thick, confident applications of paint. This creates a tactile sense of volume and depth. A harmonious palette of cerulean, emerald, and ochre evokes a feeling of timeless tranquility.
This artwork celebrates the quiet beauty of the outdoors. It invites the viewer to linger in a moment of absolute stillness. The balance between the open horizon and the detailed foreground guides the eye seamlessly through the environment. Every stroke contributes to a vivid atmosphere of warmth and openness. The scene concludes with the soft silhouette of distant banks meeting the pale blue of the water.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
