The "Poppy field" has been created as a part of The Secret Garden collection.
The idea of this collection was born while the experiment of applying graphic design principles to the classical still-life genre: abstract or pseudo-random or watercolour-looking backgrounds, sharp contrasts, bold outlines applied to the objects - all that creates a psychedelic picture while still being perceived as "nature morte".

Presentation
With a brush in one hand and a paint tube in the other, Moscow-born and Berlin-based artist, Jenya Pestova creates not only figurative but abstract paintings that tap into concepts of self-reflexion and nature beauty through the use of multi-layered textures, colours, and organic and familiar shapes.
Her process is heavily influenced by her calligraphy works, botanical illustrations and her background in graphic design.
She follows her passion and creates a beautiful, messy creative life around it.
