Description
Presentation
For Jean Marc Comby, the painting, by its fluid or thick matter, is a flesh. He works on a figurative motif. The drawing is a skeleton and dresses it with this pictorial flesh. Of a face, of a nude, of a flower, of a carcass; the main one is the painting. For him everything can be painted, what counts is the incarnation of the pictorial matter.
