Description
This work leaves us speechless. The delicacy of this painting and at the same time this power that this canvas releases.
The light is brilliant.
This painting is a beam of lights.
Born in 1919, the painter Pierre Baldi recently celebrated his 102 years, surrounded by his best friends
The artist, who has always remained faithful to Anglet, but who rubbed shoulders with Picasso, Fujita and many others during his career, and whose works adorn the walls of galleries, from New York to Osaka via Kiev, Madrid or Saint-Jean-de-Luz, still holds his brushes securely in his studio house.

Presentation
Originally from the Basque Country, Pierre Baldi benefited from the first rudiments of a meticulous technique thanks to his father, himself a painter, who instilled in him the precious notion of work.
Impressionist in his early days, he wanted to go further in pictorial creation so as not to be dependent on nature alone, and if drawing remained the basis of his work, he long ago replaced matter with effects of transparency which captivate the eye.
