Description
A golden light tears through a leaden sky. The sun, veiled by a thick mist, casts an incandescent reflection on the water's surface. This luminous streak guides the gaze toward the horizon, creating a striking contrast with the cool tones of the landscape.
The brush captures the tranquility of a harbor at twilight. Several boat silhouettes rest on the liquid mirror. The masts rise with finesse, drawing dark vertical lines against the clarity of the sky. The composition plays on the duality between the shadow of the ships and the solar glare.
The work focuses on the material and atmospheric perception. Each brushstroke of paint emphasizes the light movement of the waves. The artist favors an instinctive approach to translate the maritime serenity. This oil on canvas painting highlights a mastery of orange and bluish nuances. The scene concludes with a balanced composition where the sky and the sea respond to each other.
