Yunior Marino   New & remarkable Artists

This artwork is an enthralling exploration of color and form, skillfully composed to create a dynamic, swirling mosaic. The central spiral, crafted from countless small, square brushstrokes, draws the viewer's eye inward. Each stroke varies in hue, ranging from vibrant blues, greens, and yellows to warmer pinks and reds, creating a harmonious yet complex palette. The use of pointillism is evident, with a meticulous arrangement of colors that blend and interact to form a cohesive whole. This technique evokes movement and energy, as if the spiral is gently rotating. The background is subtly integrated with the spiral, enhancing the sense of depth and three-dimensionality. This piece uniquely combines elements of impressionism and abstract expressionism, making it not just a visual experience, but an emotional one. The engaging interplay of color and movement invites contemplation and reflection.

The act of painting becomes a form of meditation. Marino explains that the time and process of creating work are at the core of what the painting wants to mean, declaring: that is how they were made, they are what they are. Marino frames the art of creation simply by fixing what we have once destroyed. He actively uses his past and the concept of the passage of time with universality to heal his present and future. Marino, an artist in every sense of the word, works not only as a visual artist but also as a musician and designer. He seeks by all means to investigate the universal questions of the cosmos, nature, and time. He has captivated audiences with the colorful details of his paintings, the moody, ethereal melodies of his music, and the directness of his photography. He conceives the creation of his paintings as mantras, in the sense that by repeating the same action, his mind empties completely.
