Yunior Marino   New & remarkable Artists

This mesmerizing artwork features two dynamic spirals that dominate a dark canvas, radiating energy and movement. Each spiral is meticulously crafted with vibrant, swirling lines of varying colors, including soft blues, fiery oranges, and rich purples. The intricate lines converge toward the centers, creating a powerful sense of motion and depth. The harmonious blend of colors suggests a cosmic dance between the vortices, evoking feelings of both chaos and balance. The background’s black void further enhances the luminous quality of the spirals, allowing the radiant colors to pop with intensity. This piece uniquely combines elements of abstraction and kinetic energy, making it both captivating and thought-provoking. The artwork challenges the observer to ponder the mysteries of the universe, as the spirals seem to suggest the complexities of galaxies or the intricate patterns of nature.

The act of painting becomes a form of meditation. Marino explains that the time and process of creating work are at the core of what the painting wants to mean, declaring: that is how they were made, they are what they are. Marino frames the art of creation simply by fixing what we have once destroyed. He actively uses his past and the concept of the passage of time with universality to heal his present and future. Marino, an artist in every sense of the word, works not only as a visual artist but also as a musician and designer. He seeks by all means to investigate the universal questions of the cosmos, nature, and time. He has captivated audiences with the colorful details of his paintings, the moody, ethereal melodies of his music, and the directness of his photography. He conceives the creation of his paintings as mantras, in the sense that by repeating the same action, his mind empties completely.
