Description
Abstract composition of squares and rectangles in grid of varying colors with white, orange, yellow, blues, greens, and dark indigo. Warm colors are juxtaposed directly with cool colors together with textures made of line and brushstrokes. Shapes are soft edged merging one into another with transparency and color gradations. Paper size is 23" x 23" and it ships unframed, rolled, and safely in a rigid heavy duty mailing tube. This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Presentation
Artist Statement:
My process is to paint colors, shapes, and textures that are inspired by nature, music, and design. Memory plays a major role in the formation of the my abstract compositions. I often use visual elements from design and geometry to create an image that has balance and movement. I hope to engage the viewer by delivering a visual aesthetic that communicates experiences in natural and built environments. My major influencers include Paul Klee, Richard Diebenkorn, and Joseph Albers. I have recently been working with acrylics on Arches watercolor paper, stretched canvas, and wood panel. My work is in private collections and public spaces.
