Description
Gestural abstraction is expressed here through an intense chromatic dialogue. The brush is erased before the material. Oil and acrylic paint merge in thick layers. The orange and red tones oppose the blue and green depths.
The gesture is frank. It creates zones of friction and fluid slips. Drops of impasto paint bring a tactile dimension to the support. These translucent spheres capture the light and rhythmize the composition.
The graphic structure divides the space. It evokes a mental landscape where forms overlap without fading. The influence of oriental aesthetics mixes with a modern conceptual approach. The eye circulates between the opaque masses and the transparencies.
This piece from 2023 explores pure perception. It relies on the balance between organized chaos and the precision of the line. A dark block anchors the lower part, contrasting with the luminosity of the warm pigments located at the top of the canvas.
