Description
My Angel Of Love is an original unique painting created by Yasna Godovanik in 2023. In this painting, the artist pays tribute to Banksy and the artwork has gorgeous textures in the background. The painting is hand-signed by the artist and comes with the authenticity certificate issued by the Katie Feygie Art Gallery.
This artwork, titled "My Angel of Love," masterfully combines elements of street art and classical themes to create an engaging and thought-provoking piece. At its center is a cherubic angel, depicted in a monochromatic style reminiscent of stenciled graffiti. The angel, with carefully detailed wings, clutches a vibrant red heart, symbolizing love and affection. A golden halo encircles its head, adding a touch of divine significance to its presence. Surrounding the angel is a vibrant and chaotic splash of colors, primarily composed of electric blues, fiery reds, and luminous yellows. This kaleidoscopic background infuses the piece with energy and motion, contrasting sharply with the serene and static posture of the angel. Fluttering around the angel are multi-hued butterflies, each meticulously painted, adding an element of whimsy and transition. The text, "My Angel of Love," is boldly inscribed in a dynamic font at the lower section of the artwork, anchoring the piece and delivering its heartfelt message directly. The juxtaposition of the bold, graffiti-style text against the classical form of the angel signifies a blend of modernity and tradition, reflecting contemporary artistic trends that pay homage to past icons while pushing boundaries. The overall composition is both captivating and dynamic, with the interplay of colors, shapes, and symbols creating a balanced and harmonious piece. The use of vibrant coloration against the stark black-and-white figure of the angel emphasizes the central theme of love transcending all boundaries. This artwork stands out for its ability to merge various artistic influences into a cohesive and visually arresting narrative, embodying a message of love and divinity in a modern context.
Presentation
Yasna Godovanik is a pop art/street art artist. She was born in 1988 and raised in a family that encouraged art and creativity. She knew at a very young age that art was her life goal, especially painting, and on completing high school she continued her art schooling, specializing in painting, and in particular miniature paintings that earned her many awards in international competitions.
After completing her studies she joined the artist collective Art Hive, which offered workshops to the public, and organized many successful art projects and group shows.
The act of contemplation of a mandala creates a sense of balance and focus, calming and reassuring, offering an uplifting sense of peace. Yasna uses the mandala as a force of inspiration and artistic expression in her artworks.
She creates complicated patterns of color combinations in her paintings, maintaining a harmony of color and lines that are uniquely her expression and artistic statement. While she mainly works in acrylic and aquarelle paintings, she has created a series of metal wall sculptures and paper cuts that highlight her drawing skills and her brilliant sense of color.
Since the beginning of 2021 Yasna is based in Prague, and her art is represented exclusively by the Katie Feygie Art Gallery. The Katie Feygie Art Gallery ensures the originality, exclusivity, and authenticity of each of the artworks.
