Description

This painting has several layers of paint, each expressing a specific meaning.
The first is drying oil, symbolizing oil waste from production and the general pollution of land and water.
The stains are evidence of the inevitability of actions – if human activity is related to the extraction of substances, there is always consumption and the inevitability of depletion.
The dark burgundy symbolizes fertile land as salvation, but there is little of it. This work is not a warning, but rather a reflection of the inevitability of a depleted and, therefore, modified future.

This artwork is a striking example of contemporary abstract expressionism, embracing chaos and control in a riveting dance of color and texture. Dominating the canvas is a cascade of deep, dark maroon that seems to pour from the top, its viscous flow creating an intense, almost visceral effect. Below this dominant hue, the canvas reveals a complex interplay of lighter tones - beiges, whites, and hints of gold - that combine to form an intricate web of textures and forms. The artist masterfully employs a technique reminiscent of dripping and splattering, allowing gravity to play a role in the final composition. This approach not only imparts a spontaneous energy to the piece but also introduces a sense of depth and movement. The drips and splatters are not random, however; they are carefully orchestrated to guide the viewer's eye across the canvas and create a dynamic narrative. Unique to this work is the textural contrast between the areas of dense pigment and the more transparent, lighter regions. In the midst of the maroon expanse, streaks of gold provide a glimpse of luminosity, their delicate presence creating a striking juxtaposition against the dark backdrop. The crackling effect apparent in some areas adds a further layer of complexity, suggesting the passage of time and the natural processes of wear and decay. The lower portion of the artwork reveals yet another layer of intrigue. Here, the dark maroon thins out, allowing the underlying textures to become more prominent. Hints of black and grey emerge, interspersed with the lighter tones, creating a grounding effect and adding to the painting's overall sense of balance and composition. In its entirety, this artwork captures the viewer's imagination through its bold use of color, skillful manipulation of texture, and the raw emotion that emanates from every stroke and drip. It stands as a powerful testament to the artist's command of abstract expressionism, making a profound statement that is as captivating as it is enigmatic.

This painting is not removable from the stretcher - and is going to be transported on stretcher! (about 8 kg)
