Description
My inspiration for this elegant & peaceful series came from my loving relationship with God and guidance thru my dreams, painting outdoors in nature, and creating on my dads fabulous museum quality wood panels. Poetic Art Statement: Flourish In A New Beginning. The Florecer {Flourish} series took a creative journey with me, from embedding beach sand on Treasure Island Beach, to my indoor studio, and then back to outdoor painting on my favorite nature trail. Eco-friendly oil over organic European textures from Italy, recycled glass particles, natural beach sand, and 24k melted metallic gold leaf on wood with custom metallic pink oil accents on upper areas of painting which I invented. Shades of blush pink, gold, taupe, gray, and neutrals, with a hint of silver. These original one-of-a-kind paintings (set of 2) 24 x 24 can be interpreted as abstract landscape or waterscape - whatever the viewer sees. Can be displayed as a versatile 2 piece diptych (with 1" to 2" middle separation) or stand alone pieces on adjacent walls. Due to the nature of metallic elements, light & bright luminosity will present in varied ways depending on lighting. Tract lighting or picture lights above can be beautiful at night to illuminate the original artwork. 1.75" inch gallery wrap edges are lightly textured and painted White. Professionally wired and ready to hang - no frame needed.
Presentation
Personal statement : I have been a full-time artist since 2000. Fine Art Painting is my primary chosen path of creative self-expression. Everyone has something they can do, which no one else can do. Every person can give a gift to the world, that no one else can give, the discovery of which lies sometimes buried within one's soul. One of my mother's dreams was to be a professional artist, but she lacked confidence in herself and her talent. Before she died, she told me that she felt as if she had never "really lived." This had a profound impact on my life. After that, I made a lifetime promise to continue to paint in honor of my mother, to learn how to live my authentic creative truth, and to encourage others in the journey to discover who they really are. My current life mission is to bring peace, light, and positive energy to the world thru my creative talents ... and one way I accomplish this vision is thru my painting gift. Thank you for supporting the collective dream of all artists, past, present, and future.
About my oil paintings: I feel passionate about the meditative quality of nature involving my study and observations as they relate to earth, wind, water, and sky. My love of colors, natural space, and nature elements has inspired me to produce “ColorScapes." These paintings combine my artistic oil talent and love of tranquility with emotional release. I have always used water-based Oils which are considered less toxic than traditional oils and think of myself as a “Green" Artist whenever possible. I want to be aware of my client's environments and add to the health & healing of the planet. In my textured oil series I also utilize ecofriendly textures & Italian art mediums. I use professional grade products that are shipped from Italy accompanied with international recycled paper products which complete my unique oil artwork.
