Description
Poetic Art Statement: My Sueno - My Heart. My inspiration came from a dream where I have been painting en plein air in a natural beach setting. This series was painted on the beach in my dream & may be interpreted as pure abstract, landscape or waterscape. Created with ecofriendly oil with mixed-media including organic semi-precious pigments & textures, natural beach sand, crushed stone, recycled glass particles, melted silver leaf on a cradled wood panel with finished white edges. There are a few unique accent areas of organic resin which are of conversation interest. And some areas of silver leaf were burnished to produce more metallic effects. Ready to hang and professionally wired. These paintings are luminous and will display individual characteristics in different lighting situations. It was created in a triptych (series of 3 connective pieces) which can be sold individually while they are available or as a set of 2 or 3, depending on the collector or interior design space & vision. Actual painting size together with no separation is 48" w x 24" h"; however, with triptych affect can stretch to 50+" wide.
Presentation
Personal statement : I have been a full-time artist since 2000. Fine Art Painting is my primary chosen path of creative self-expression. Everyone has something they can do, which no one else can do. Every person can give a gift to the world, that no one else can give, the discovery of which lies sometimes buried within one's soul. One of my mother's dreams was to be a professional artist, but she lacked confidence in herself and her talent. Before she died, she told me that she felt as if she had never "really lived." This had a profound impact on my life. After that, I made a lifetime promise to continue to paint in honor of my mother, to learn how to live my authentic creative truth, and to encourage others in the journey to discover who they really are. My current life mission is to bring peace, light, and positive energy to the world thru my creative talents ... and one way I accomplish this vision is thru my painting gift. Thank you for supporting the collective dream of all artists, past, present, and future.
About my oil paintings: I feel passionate about the meditative quality of nature involving my study and observations as they relate to earth, wind, water, and sky. My love of colors, natural space, and nature elements has inspired me to produce “ColorScapes." These paintings combine my artistic oil talent and love of tranquility with emotional release. I have always used water-based Oils which are considered less toxic than traditional oils and think of myself as a “Green" Artist whenever possible. I want to be aware of my client's environments and add to the health & healing of the planet. In my textured oil series I also utilize ecofriendly textures & Italian art mediums. I use professional grade products that are shipped from Italy accompanied with international recycled paper products which complete my unique oil artwork.
