Description
This work of art is a masterful example of geometric abstraction, embodying the very essence of movement through clean shapes and vibrant colors. The color palette is bold, dominated by bright tones like red, blue, green and yellow, contrasted by more sober shades of black, white and gray. Interlocking circles and angular lines intersect and overlap, generating a sense of depth and constant movement. The variations in opacity and transparency between the different layers add an extra dimension to the work, giving the illusion of a three-dimensional space. The precise use of angles and curves demonstrates undeniable technical mastery. This painting is not only a visual experience, but also an exploration of the relationships between geometric shapes and colors. Each element seems placed with calculated intention, contributing to the overall harmony of the composition. This work transcends simple decoration to become a visual meditation on order and chaos, stability and movement. It captures attention with its impeccable balance and complexity, prompting prolonged contemplation and reflection on the beauty of abstract geometry.
Presentation
Jean-Claude Atzori was born in 1963, he is a French painter. Atzori has had a passion for drawing since his childhood, but worked as an engineer for ten years. However, he turned towards his initial passion and devotes himself to painting in his Parisian studio, through a procedure which is a struggle against "all work and no play".
Jean-Claude Astori experiments with the figurative style, but has put down roots in abstraction "I treat the canvas as a field or a stage where strokes, colors and forms play an important role. These are the actors which put up a show", explains the artist. He draws inspiration from these rigorous forms and lines, like one can notice in the minimalist current, especially through the supremacist dynamic of Malevitch. Studying Cézanne, Robert Delaunay, Robert Natkin and Maurice Estève has been key for Atzori's artistic path. However, he doesn't give special importance to geometry, as it's only the outline. The artist then provides the movement, which becomes inspires life into the painting. An almost spiritual dimension, which is a very important aspect for the painter.
Jean-Claude Atzori's work is regularly exhibited in France during personal and collective exhibitions.
